The idea behind the piece is to evoke several feelings: The wild passion and fire of life, but also a sense of aged wear and passing into the ‘fall’. It’s meant to be comforting and beautiful, but also a small reminder that all things will pass. A reminder to be mindful of looking after one’s own personal fire and passions.
